HOW TO USE TROJAN BOT ON SOLANA

The 2026 beginner tutorial: setup, buying, sniping and the settings that actually matter.

By Orangie · Bull Trenches · ·~7 min read

If you've spent any time in the Solana trenches, you've watched someone buy a token seconds after launch while you were still copy-pasting an address into your wallet. That speed comes from trading bots — and Trojan (formerly Unibot on Solana) is one of the most used Telegram bots in the niche. This tutorial walks you through it from zero: setup, funding, your first buy, sniping launches, and the safety rules that keep you off the scam radar.

What is Trojan bot?

Trojan is a Telegram-based trading terminal for Solana. Instead of opening a wallet app, finding a token on a DEX and confirming three screens, you interact with a bot chat: paste a token address or ticker, tap preset buy amounts, and the trade executes against on-chain liquidity almost instantly. It also handles sells, limit orders, copy-trading-style follow features and auto-sniping of brand-new launches.

The trade-off is trust: you're delegating custody to the bot's wallet system, which is exactly why the "fake clone bots" section below matters.

Step 1 — Start the real Trojan bot

  1. Open Telegram and go to the official bot: t.me/TrojanOnSolanaBot. Verify the handle letter by letter.
  2. Tap Start. The bot creates a Solana wallet for you automatically and shows its address.
  3. Bookmark the official link and refuse every "support" DM you ever receive (more on that below).

Step 2 — Fund your Trojan wallet

Tap the Wallet button to reveal your deposit address. Send SOL from your Phantom/Solfare/exchange wallet to that address — that's your trading balance plus a small buffer for network fees. Deposits usually show up in under a minute. Your seed phrase lives in the bot's wallet menu; if you ever export it, treat it like the keys to the kingdom and never type it into any website.

Step 3 — Your first buy

  1. Paste a token's contract address (the mint) into the chat, or a ticker if the bot resolves it unambiguously. The bot replies with a live card: price, market cap, liquidity and 24h volume.
  2. Tap a preset buy amount (e.g. 0.5 / 1 / 2 SOL) or enter a custom one, then confirm.
  3. The bot executes the swap and reports fill price and position size. From alert to position: seconds.

Step 4 — Settings that actually matter

Step 5 — Selling and taking profit

Selling works the same way: open the token's card and choose a percentage to dump. Set your plan before you buy — most disciplined traders take out their initial capital at TP1 and let the rest ride with predefined exits. Chasing green candles without an exit plan is how the trenches taxes the undisciplined.

Step 6 — Sniping new launches

Trojan's sniper mode lets you queue buys that fire automatically the moment a token becomes tradable (e.g., when a pump.fun token graduates to a DEX). Paste the address, define your buy amount, slippage and priority fee, arm it, and the bot races other snipers for the entry. Sniping is the highest-speed, highest-risk play in the trenches — most sniped tokens die within hours, so treat it as lottery-sized positions, not portfolio moves. If you want candidates that have already been vetted, that's literally what our VIP call feed does.

Fees, in plain numbers

Trojan charges a commission on trades (historically around ~1% on buys, with the exact rate shown in-app — always confirm the current figure inside the bot before trading). On top of that you pay Solana network fees (fractions of a cent) and your configured priority tip. Budget for the fee when you calculate position sizes and break-evens.

Safety: how people actually get drained

Trojan vs Photon: which one?

They overlap heavily. Trojan wins on mobile speed — everything happens in a Telegram chat, which is why call channels love shipping Trojan links. Photon (web) offers a fuller desktop terminal feel with multi-chart layouts and fast manual trading. Plenty of degens run both: Photon on the desktop, Trojan in the pocket. Our calls include one-click links for both, so you can execute from whichever device is in your hand.

WANT CALLS THAT SHIP TROJAN LINKS?

Every Bull Trenches VIP call includes one-click Trojan, Photon and DexScreener links — from alert to position in seconds.

Trojan bot FAQ

Is Trojan bot on Solana safe?+

The official bot is widely used and battle-tested, but any custodial trading bot concentrates risk: you're trusting its wallet infrastructure. Keep only trading funds there, start only from the verified official handle, and never share your seed. The bigger day-to-day danger isn't the bot — it's the clone bots impersonating it.

What are Trojan bot's fees?+

Historically about 1% commission on buys, displayed transparently in the bot, plus negligible Solana network fees and whatever priority tip you configure. Check the live rate inside the bot's settings before sizing trades — rates can change.

Do I need my own wallet to use Trojan?+

No separate setup needed — the bot generates a Solana wallet when you start. You just deposit SOL into the address it shows. Advanced users can import an existing wallet instead, but most degens keep a dedicated hot wallet purely for bot trading.

Can Trojan guarantee my buys fill first?+

No bot can. Sniping is a race against other bots where priority fees, RPC quality and luck decide order placement. Trojan gives you the fastest practical workflow, but anyone promising guaranteed first fills — or guaranteed anything — is selling fiction.
